Len Yurovsky, is one of the rare talented European colorists who captures the brilliant colors and landscapes of the Mediterranean on a rich and vibrant canvas. Len's pictures include cityscapes of Rome, as we welcomed Pope Frances to Washington, DC! Originally from the Soviet Union, Len is now an international artist who has become a bridge of culture between America, Europe and Asia. His artwork has been avidly collected by Woody Allen
while he was producing movies in Rome, by the heirs of William Randolph Hearst
and many other collectors and corporations.
Pope Francis is also an admirer of Yurovsky and has paintings of his at The
Vatican.
Len finds great inspiration from his travels in
Italy,
Paris and South of France, places he is passionate about. He interprets the landscapes and cityscapes of Italy and France in particular,
Rome, Paris, Portofino, Positano, Tuscany, Venice
and many more; painting them, not just from what he sees, but what he feels inside. Yurovsky weaves the abstract with reality to create masterpieces on canvas with a rich palette of color.
Inspired by
Picasso, Mondrian, and Kandinsky,
Yurovsky
sought to create a separate reality of
the elements of beauty and harmony so often found in the
Mediterranean full of rich textural colors.
We are also featuring an DC Award winning jazz-pop musician
who will perform all the best of the Holiday music and classics...
