MARTIN VAVRYS

Martin Vavrys  is an artistic designer , painter and sculptor. His father is the Czech academic painter and illustrator Pavel Vavrys . His mother is the painter Marta Vavrysová . Martin Vavrys' grandfather was the academic sculptor Evžen Macků - a descendant of the Czech painter Josef Mánes .

Martin Vavrys grew up in the environment of his parents' studios, so his artistic talent began to show at the age of five. ^{[4] [p 1]} . He moved to Prague with his parents in  after the Vavrys family acquired a house in the center of Prague in the Old Town at 1023/12 V Kotcích Street. Martin Vavrys entered the art school with painting techniques and knowledge acquired in his father's studio. Martin Vavrys graduated from the private secondary art school of design in Prague - Čakovice  in 1997 . (He studied at school in the studio of the academic painter Prof. Jaroslav Klát.

Characteristics creation

Art should represent and communicate the author's inner feelings, tell about the lived present reflected in the artist's subconscious. characteristics and painting style of Martin Vavrys can be included in the category of lyrical expressionism. Its attributes are predatory and very structured painting, which then turns into smooth surfaces and fine details. Real objects, figures and symbols shine through numerous fragments, which are placed on an abstract background. The final impression of the work (and the artist's message) is composed in a mosaic, which the viewer consists of chaos played on the screen.

Sculptures (iron sculptures) formed by welding mostly from metal car parts (brought from collected raw materials) are assembled by Martin Vavrys in the countryside near Prague in the yard at his parents' house.

He paints paintings (female nudes, landscapes and abstract themes) in the center of Prague in Rytířská Street in an attic residential studio, which he adapted himself.
